About this piece
The flat, straight-sided profile of a Ping An bangle sits closer to the wrist than a round bangle, which many people find more comfortable through a working day. Floating green appears as soft, drifting colour rather than a solid wash, giving the piece a calm, quiet character.
The name Ping An carries the wish of safety, which is why this shape is a traditional gift for someone close. The waxy texture warms quickly against the skin, and 57.5 mm is a mainstream size for most hands.
At 70.8 g the piece has a solid, noticeable presence on the wrist - worth trying if you usually prefer lighter jewellery.
An inner diameter of 57.5 mm is a comfortable classic size that suits most average hands.
This listing records the weight (70.8 g), colour (Floating green) and measurements (57.5 mm inner diameter) as supplied with the piece.
Material and how we describe it
Jadeite is the dense, glassy jade family most associated with Myanmar. We name the family, describe the visible texture and colour, and quote the grade label supplied with the stone.
Read the Jadeite guide: identity, treatments and what to check.
Authenticity, treatments and certificates
Terms such as "A-grade" or "seed jade" are market descriptions supplied with the stone, not laboratory certificates. Ask us for close-up photographs and any available documentation before payment.
Where an independent examination is practical, we will discuss arranging it with you.
Sizing and wearing feel
A bangle fits by its inner diameter in millimetres, not by a letter size: measure the widest part of your hand and compare it with the opening shown on this page.
In the hand, jadeite feels cool and dense at first and warms slowly against the skin.
Shipping and returns
Delivery country, method, timing and any customs duties are confirmed with you before dispatch. Return eligibility and any custom-order exclusions are agreed per order - please ask us before payment.
What does Ping An mean?
Ping An means safety or peace. The flat-band bangle is a traditional shape whose name carries this wish, which is why it is often chosen for gifts.
Is a flat band more comfortable than a round bangle?
Many wearers find the flat profile sits closer and more securely on the wrist. Comfort also depends on the exact inner diameter, so measure your hand first.
